SUMMARY:Know Your Neighborhood: Wood Dale/Itasca
DESCRIPTION:Pre-registration with the leader is required\, limit 15 participants. Enjoy a walk around the Wood Dale Reservoir and through the Salt Creek Marsh Forest Preserve in search of shorebirds and other early migrants. A spotting scope is recommended for long-distance viewing. Meet at the parking lot on School St.\, off Wood Dale Rd.\, north of Irving Park Rd. Most of our walk will be on a paved trail; wear appropriate shoes and clothing and don’t forget to bring insect repellent.
