Mallard Lake Forest Preserve, Hanover Park

Pre-registration is required, limit 10 participants. Let’s explore Mallard Lake for late fall birds and waterfowl. We will meet at the main parking lot on Schick road just west of Gary Avenue. There are a few water areas to check and some woodland edges and shrub areas. If we have time we can continue on to West Branch Forest Preserve nearby for some more possibilities. Plan on walking trails including crushed limestone and dirt and even some grassy trails.
