The DuPage Birding Club wouldn't be the same without the time and talents of its many volunteers and field trip leaders. To celebrate your incredible dedication, the DBC Board is hosting a special Volunteer Luncheon on Saturday, October 17th at St. James Farm.
This event is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has volunteered in any capacity over the last year. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to socialize and catch up with your fellow club members.
Here is the schedule for the day:
• 9:00 AM – Birding Walk: Meet at the St. James parking lot off Winfield Rd.
• 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Luncheon: We will gather for food and socializing at the St. James indoor riding arena meeting space. You can find it inside the yellow building on the far right when looking from the parking lot (the same building where the restrooms are located).
You are welcome to join us for both activities, or you can skip the walk and join us just for lunch at 11:00 AM. Please RSVP by Wednesday, October 14th using this link: https://forms.gle/1D1DXMr3J1E94ecs9 to help us get an accurate headcount for food.
Thank you to all our volunteers who support the club. We hope to see you there!
