The 85-acre Mallard Lake is the District’s largest recreational lake. Mallard Lake has 4 miles of trails, including a 2.5-mile trail system that winds around the lake and over two bridges plus a boardwalk that is ideal for birdwatching. The lake is a beautiful place to spend a fall day.
