Meet at Burlington Prairie Forest Preserve where we will carpool to nearby Chapman Rd. in search of our local Swainson’s Hawks. We’ll also spend some time exploring the grassland birds at Burlington FP and may venture to Muirhead Springs FP dependent on the conditions. Insect repellent and sunscreen are recommended. There are bathroom facilities at Burlington FP. Meet up location: Take Engle Rd. Go west on Burlington Prairie Forest Preserve Drive (located between Plank Rd. and L’enschow Rd) and follow to the end.
