Let’s spend an hour near the wetlands searching for Nelson’s and Leconte’s Sparrows, and then head to the big quarry pond for waterfowl and other birds. Please watch DBC Mini tutorial on Nelson’s and Leconte’s Sparrows to prepare. Meet at the picnic shelter at the wetlands-this is the first big parking lot you’ll see, between the dog park on the north and the shallow wetlands to the south.
