Timber Ridge Forest Preserve, West Chicago
Preregistration is required, limit of 6 cars due to limited parking space. This forest preserve has a wide variety of birding spots accessible via bike/walking trails and small parking lots in several spots. We will bird the Great Western Trail and find migrants in the smaller trees lining the trail, grasslands on the north side and some deeper wooded sections. This trip will include walking at least 3 miles. Try this under- birded preserve to discover a new go-to place. Register one or two people with the leader.Leader: Nancy Allured, nallured@comcast.net
